101 Things I Certainly Enjoyed: No. 9 - Celebrating My 27th Birthday in Pearl Farm Resort

I had been wondering how was it like celebrating my birthday out of your base yet still your dearest ones are with you. And then came the opportunity to bring the whole family to Davao last December 13 to 15 of 2011. Thanks to Cebu Pacific's promo fares. I considered that as their advance gift to me.

After staying for a night in a hotel in Davao, we headed the next day to Marina Bay Port for our transfer to a much coveted stay in one of the famous resorts in Samal Island - Pearl Farm Resort.

The views are scenic and the beach though sands are artificial was the main attraction. Not to mention the buffet lunch included in the package. See photos.

Truly, my 27th birthday last year was memorable because it was spent with lifetime memories shared together by loved ones in a tranquil paradise of Pearl Farm Resort.

101 Things I Certainly Enjoyed: No. 8 - Barkada Bonding in Baguio City

If there's really one thing I certainly enjoyed, it would have to be the Baguio trip I had with friends. I have gone to the city of pines more than a couple of times but this recent visit was a blast! Actually, not so recent because we went there February this year to witness Panagbenga Festival.

This trip was well-planned. Seat plan, food, committee on this and that, places to visit and budget were in writing - sealed with signatures. :)) (Napagtripan lang.)

 That's my right hand signing.

In order to reach Baguio earliest time possible, we decided to sleep over Rubymel's place. We barely slept! How can you sleep if your barkada was so witty and wild? haha! We just talked, laughed and teased each other and waited for 2AM - departure time. We realized that sleep over prior to a trip was bad of an idea. Never will we do that again! Never. Promise!

Rubymel's residence. The "sleep over".

Came 2AM. We were all present except Jennifer. Actually, we were contacting her since midnight and we hadn't got any word from her. We were clueless if she'd come. But fortunately, at 230AM she texted and told us that she was on her way. Yey!

Fast forward to road trip enroute to Baguio.

First stop was Manaoag Church. Too good we were able to hear the first mass. I couldn't remember when was the last I visited this place. Before my father died, he went here on his own to fulfill his promise to Him in favor of something he asked for even if it wasn't granted. :)

This also happened to be CORY Day. haha!

After churching, we continued our journey. As normal, we were all laughing, telling stories and butting in every  humor someone would punch in. Those abnormal acts are normal to us. Haha!

We reached the lion's head at around 630AM. We had a sip of strawberry taho. Yummy! A bit of picture taking. Then we went to the city proper to meet our accommodation agent.

Upon checking every corner of the house we rented for a night, Sheryl cooked sinigang for us. Her sinigang was one heaven of a dish! Ang saarap! From then on, she's our official cook. I don't think she liked that idea but she had no choice. haha! After lunching, our happy (as usual) adventure started.

And here are the pictures of our childhood acts :)) I have lots of pictures to upload but the following are only those approved by screening committee. Enjoy! :)

Magkaisa, magkapit-bisig: Baguio Revolution

Awating for the parade to start. Rubymel was so irate! :))

Jennifer was feeling celebrity. Baka dumugin!

Why were they running?
Why were we laughing?

Playful "kids".

Couldn't explain further the fun memories we had shared together in Baguio. Basta masaya kami magkakasama :)

My normal friends :D From left: Jennifer, Mayette, Tope, Sheryl, Glad and Rubymel

I hope above photos helped me in explaining though. Actually, while doing this entry, I couldn't help but laugh out loud by mere looking at them. Ikaw, which picture you laughed at the most?

101 Things I Certainly Enjoyed: No. 7: Camwhoring at Senado Square

My Macau trip was full of memories. Hence, here's another entry with photos (of course) shot in a Calle Crisologo-ish Senado Square.

Senado Square or Largo do Senado was created by Portuguese experts. It is paved by a wave-patterned mosaic of colored stones starting from the main road up to St. Paul's ruins. It is enclosed by the buildings of Leal Senado, the general post office and St. Dominic Church. This square is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Don't you love the tilings of the pavement?

This trip was FUN because of my company - the three tough cookies namely Jeng, Jen and Glad.

The three girls are my batch mates in the telco I am presently employed. Glad, in blue polo, aside from being a batch mate, was my high school barkada. Jen, in black, was our former colleague and currently works in Dubai. The lady in checkered top is Jeng, a former colleague as well and currently works in an IT company. Only me and Glad remain loyal to our company. Hanggang kelan? hahaha!

The Senado Sqaure is the gateway to one of Macau's main attractions. Ruins of St. Paul Church that is. It has McDonald's and other fast food chains. The Mc Donald's here serves the typical meals with a twist! Their menu boasts of soup with burger. Don't ask me how it tastes! We never had the guts to try it though! hahaha!

Noticed that in Macau Bossini Boutiques are bigger that the usual boutiques there. Same in Hong Kong.

AND NOW presenting the bida shots and supporting role shots. =))

Glad and yours truly as supporting subjects. haha!

Bida shot! :D

Another bida shot!

Kick it! --> Bida shot!

Singit shot! haha!

Supporting roles. Passers-by kuno!

May MAS BIBIDA pa ba dito?
